We represent sellers and purchasers of Belvedere homes on a Single Agency basis. This means that although we represent seller clients and buyer clients, we never represent both on the same transaction.

This site is NOT intended as a clone of the Chamber of Commerce, lauding the wonders of Sausalito. THAT, is done well, by the Chamber and others.


SAUSALITO

The Official Sausalito site includes the business of City Hall, including links to departments, boards, commissions, et al. The Planning Department and Building Division have the most to do with real estate.

The 2010 Census reported the Sausalito population at 7,062. Year 2010 demographics for Sausalito, are available at the ABAG site: population, race, sex, age, housing, education. Another excellent demographics site is City-Data.com site.

The two ordinances in the Sausalito Municipal Code which may be of special interest are:

* The Trees and Views Preservation Ordinance, at Title 11, Chapters 11 and 12
* The Buildings and Construction Ordinance, at Title 8

SAUSALITO SCHOOLS

The Sausalito Marin City School District is an elementary district drawing its student population from Sausalito and Marin City. The District has two small schools for kindergarten through 8th grade: Bayside/Martin Luther King Elementary School and North Bay Elementary School. District enrollment is 255 students. Class size averages 18 students. As of the Spring of 2004 I found that the links to both North Bay and Bayside were broken, and there were no new links to be found.

* Bayside Elementary
* MLK Academy
* Willow Creek Academy

Students proceed to the Mill Valley Middle School.

And from there, to Tamalpais High School

Any school can be compared to other schools in the District, the County and the State using the Education Data Partnership site. From the "Reports" menu select "Schools". After entering "Marin" in the County field, then select any elementary, middle or high school district. Then, from "Related Links" choose "Compare Schools". In the grid for "Compare schools" pay attention to each field to insure that the result matches your search: eg, comparing one school to all in the County.
